Who Was Jafar al-Sadiq?

Jafar al-Sadiq was born in 702 CE in Medina. He descended from Ali (RA) and Fatima (RA). His grandfather was Imam Zaynul Abidin and his father was Imam Muhammad al-Baqir. He was one of the greatest scholars of his era, with works in jurisprudence, hadith, kalam, and Sufism.
